Does the winning goal in QF against Port in 2002 count for anything? or helping rub melbourne's face into the dirt on Queen's birthday 2003 bring back any memories. I also remember him kicking 4 against carlscum in 2004 in the first encounter. Also kicking a few against the crows in 2001 and keeping us in touch in a thriller where we just got home and Jarman was running a muck. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

4 matches, more than 100 games.
In cricket terms, strike rate of 1 out of 25.
So we expect one good game per annum if we make the GF. |

Don't kid ya self mate he's a dud, wow he kicked the winning goal in the 2002 QF that put'shim on a pedastool, 7 years at the club 6 very average seasons. Speaking of rubbing the dirt into Melbourne he could of it done it in 2004 instead he chose to have a shot goal 45 out directly infront with a checkside kick, then Melbourne went on to score the next 6 unanswered goals. _________________ The black & white jumper, worn by heroes worshipped by millions. |

saying Collingwood supporters are racist is as prejudiced as the racist acts these people condemn. Whoever wrote that letter about the CFC and the KKK must have been a complete idiot or a far-left winger, same thing. As for Leon, I like him and hope he does have a long career here, although he's going to have to play a bit better than what he has in the last couple of years, as does almost everyone else on the list. Probably the best film to see about racism is American History X, I didn't agree with everything in it and thought it was a little patronising at times, but it clearly displays both white and black racism. 3rd Degree, I wouldn't like to see the aboriginal flag to replace the union jack, as it would only represent a small minority, a far better idea would be to make a new flag (not that I think we need one) that recognises all races that make up the country.
EDIT: Or, even better, how about people just leave the whole race thing alone and all love each other . Isn't, after all, the aboriginal flag a racist symbol? Think about it. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I'm definitely a racist.
I believe that the Cox Plate is a superior race to the Melbourne Cup |

Not really.
The southern cross obviously isn't. The star of federation isn't either, as it represents the creation of Australia. As for the Union Jack, well Australia started as a British colony, and we still are technically under British rule, not being a republic yet. It may or may not be right for us to have it there, but I do not believe the Union Jack is a racist symbol. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

David, you miss the point that the Union Jack represents the invasion of Australia to the original inhabitants of the land.
So you believe red, white and blue not to be racist, but red, black and yellow to be racist? |

How about we leave it the way it is, neither of the bloody flags are racist. _________________ The black & white jumper, worn by heroes worshipped by millions. |

its not just a case of different colours Eunos. The Union Jack represents a country, namely the United Kingdom of Great Britain. The aboriginal flag represents a race of people - it only applies to those who are of aboriginal descent. As you say, some aborigines may view the union jack as representative of imperialism, but even that doesn't make it racist, although their anger is fair enough. Anyway I believe it's a subjective thing, some people may view the union jack as racist, and some may believe it not to be so. But the Aboriginal flag IS racist, as it sets one race apart from the rest. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
