A good virus program will stay on top of any infections.
I get to see TV programs up to 12 months ahead of Aus, and with no ads.
for me, thats plenty.

Currently watching "Lost" Series 2 ep 12 (want to know whats in the hole? want to know who dies? Want ot know what the "monster" looks like? Want to know whats on the other side of hte island? I've seen it all!)
Currently watching "Invasion" Series 1 Ep 11
Currently watching "Supernatural" Series 1 Ep 11
Currently watching " Life On Mars" series 1 Ep 2 (fantastic show, BBC at it's best!)
Completed watching "Amazing Race series 8" (reality show that can be spoiled if you are not up to date. Ch7 are showing it in Feb. series 9 starts in the U.S. in Feb!)
Currently watching "Smallville" Series 5 ep 11. (you guys are getting series 4!)
Currently watching "Desperate Housewives" Series 2 ep 12 (the mrs loves this show.
Have watched "Prison Break" Ep1, will recommend it, but its close to screening here so I won't follow through with it.

Plus of course "Narnia" in my own home!
What else can you ask for?

For someone to attack your pc when your firewall is down, they need to know which port you use. millions of choices.

Best way is to run through a router than a straight modem, I have never had a problem.

There's a computer in the hole. As well as lots of other things.

I wish I could get the 2006 GF, but why look for more disappointment!

That would be about 8 episodes PP. Each is about 350MB.
I suggest you D/L one ep at a time. Much faster and you get something to watch while the next is coming.

Good question PP. Was wondering the same thing myself.

Just watched the first 2 episodes of the new season of 24 which have only just aired in the US last week.Tried to burn to a DVD to watch on the big screen but no luck.

Should I delete my downloads once I have "finished" with them or will keeping them make future downloads faster due to me being able to share more files?

I use Nero vision express 3. Never had a problem with .avi files. Burns to DVD-RW no problems. Plays back no problems.

As for saving your file. Up to you. Doubt it will speed up your downloads as it will just chew bandwith.

Tip for people for downloading movies, find them in DIVX format. Will be 1/4 of the size and quicker to download. You can convert them to dvd and burn them. What you won't have is menus, 5.1 sound etc just stereo. Quality is still great. A lot of new DVD players play DIVX format.

What do you do in your spare time? How recently? Not many people express themselves that way.

Ok, I'm a full on Bit Torrent user so I'll put down a fews thigs to help you out.

Here's what you do:

Step 1: First you will need a bit torrent program. I use utorrent which is good and a friend swears by a program called Azureus. Here are the links to download both programs:

http://www.utorrent.com/ (This has a FAQ and Forum which is pretty helpful!

http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

This is the main program you'll use to download whatever you want.

Step 2: You'll need to configure the program and firewall\router settings. Info on this can be found at:

http://portforward.com/ or searching Google or Torrent Site forums like the Utorrent and Azureus ones.

Step 3: You'll need to find torrent sites or forums to search for what you want to download. Some require registration so you can search and download Torrents. Here are a few I recommend:

http://www.araditracker.com/ - This requires regestration and is measured by upload\download ratio. The more you share the quicker the downloads. It has heaps of stuff especially Lost - Season 2!! This site is my favorite as you get what you download. No fakes or no crappy stuff.

http://www.torrentreactor.net/ - Registration is optional and is really only needed if you want to view user comments.

http://isohunt.com/ - This you type what you want and click on torrents and it'll search most of the popular torrent sites for it and give you stats.

http://www.torrentspy.com/ - Same as isohunt

http://www.mininova.org/

http://www.filemp3.org/login.php

Once you find what you want to download it will come up and say Save or Open. Select Open and it will then open the Torrent client and start downloading it.

TIP: Always check out comments on the file you wish to download as others will post if it's good or a waste of time or anything else that can be helpful.

Feel free to PM me with any other questions.
