Three away games in the middle of the season seems odd. Only one TV game which is very odd, especially since we are playing 7 Saturday games, with four in a row to start off the season.

EDIT:

Thanks for the updates Dale61.

Two of those games - 2nd July v Box Hill and 9th July v Coburg - are played the same day as Collingwood plays.

Just edited the draw. Two more ABC games:, Round 3 v Northern Bullants and Round 18 v Port Melbourne.

Re: the ABC games.

I've just been looking at the complete VFL draw, and there is a chance we could get at least one more. Round one, v Box Hill, is the only Saturday game played in the afternoon, yet no game has been allocated.

Rounds 19 and 20 have also yet to have ABC games allocated, so we could luck out and get two in a row, but no chance for round 20.

Casey Scorpions are what were formerly Springvale.

Casey Fields is based in Cranbourne.

The Casey Scorpions have already lost three players on a bus to Wonthaggi.

Common sense has prevailed and the Rd 15 clash has been moved to the following :

Rd 15 Bendigo Bombers v Williamstown Sunday 23rd July, 2.00pm at WINDY HILL.

Looks like the E-mail I sent to Bendigo Bombers CEO Paul Barnard worked Wink

Jesus Barnard doesn't look like he would know how to open a letter let alone how to read an email. Very Happy

Can't believe they would not have this game in Bendigo. VFL is trying to promote the support of Bendigo Bombers and you can't get much better that a psuedo Pies v Bombers reserve game to do that. That said I am pissed as I live in Bendigo and this is the only chance I get to see Willi live.

The draw and the proposed ABC televised games are all over the shop depending upon which website you visit. Still nothing official at the VFL website. From the Willi site it appears that we only get 2 televised matches.

How soon before all this is clarified?
