If there was QUALITY Australian drama people would watch it. Not the boring same old cliche' crap that they churn out then it lasts three weeks.

The problem with making shows like the Alice etc, they are "too Australian", it makes it hard to sell the programs overseas to actually make some money on them. Why would Yanks want to watch The Alice when they can watch similar shows produced in America that are more relevant to them?

Go see " Look Both Ways" Joel this an Australian Fim that could have been set anywhere - very good film.
