Matt Priddis is his name....good football head, lovely silky skills! surely worth a look.... |
Well spotted. Add it to the legion of players Collingwood has missed out on over the years. _________________ Rain or hail, I wag my tail |

2006 we picked up Reid, Brown, Dawes and Dick & Rookie pick Wellers.
Can't really cokplain about our picks in 2006. _________________ All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

always thought he got a heap of the footy but did not much with it.
Never thought he really hurt us in games.................until this year.
The first game against us this year he was just about unstoppable and damaging. The games I have seen him this year he has hurt teams with possession and use.
said to a westcoast mate a few weeks ago that I thought he was a much better player, didnt think he would win the brownlow however Im not surprised he did.

Just think - if we'd of drafted him back then he'd have missed his first two seasons with OP. Do an ACL in his 3rd. After a year out of the game, come back in his 4th through the seconds and play the final game of the season. Be in and out of the side in our premiership year, only for Mick to play favourites and miss out on the final series altogether - then be traded to the Gold Coast.
The positive - he'd still have a tan
The negative - No Brownlow because he wouldn't touch it with Gazza in the team.
Good on him though - he could always find the pill.

That's not relevant as it doesn't suit spin dogs agenda though. |

He was actually drafted in 2005, but in the 2006 Rookie Draft, where we took Nicholls, Toovey, and Cox, he was Pick 31 in that rookie draft. In the National Draft we took Pendles and Thomas, also Stanley, Cook, and Anthony.
But good on Priddis for winning the Brownlow, he shows that hard work pays off and certainly deserved it. I doubt he's going to be the last player that is overlooked in the draft and turns into a gem. _________________ Ðavâgé
