I am one who is not calling for MM's sacking. It is too late for that. The problem is bigger than one man.

CFC has a culture crisis which is most evident in the rantings of some of the clowns as supporters who spend all their time bagging anyone who dares question the worst period of prolonged failure in our club history.

Oh come on ... a little matter of 58 to 90 but lets not lets facts get in the way.

Hiss wrote:
There are many who invade this web site and pretend to know something about running a business. Well in my company such clowns never make it beyond the mailroom. The appropriate level of responsibility and executive pitch for their limited IQ. Problem is they actually have a right to speak on such forums and more alarmingly get to vote in elections. But we cannot rule out the club plants who spend their time rebutting any condemnation on these sites cos that's their job. So fair is fair.

So beware of those who condemn anyone who rightfully calls for immediate change at our club. For they are the true problem. Words cannot describe how dumb some of these people are.

Ahh McCarthyism at it's best. Geroge W would be proud of you. If you arent with us, you're against us. Everyone who disagrees with you is a plant from the club Rolling Eyes
I reckon Carlton love seeing us down so maybe everyone who calls for MM to be sacked is a Carlton troll.

The McGuire experiment has clearly failed. We exist to win on field. And on this measure, who can argue we are improving. We have left our 'spiritual' home for a shared facility. A corporate culture and a distancing of traditional core values where Presidential foreign suited lunches are the norm and the common supporter is a mere product to determine yield, rather than people who count.

Maybe Eddie has failed ... if we had gone out of business and were no longer in the AFL we wouldn't have lost tonight!!!!

And I know those swines who invade this website representing the club will condemn me again for these comments, but to you I say don't waste your time. For you are too obvious now.

More reds under the bed

As a 35 year member I will stand up and demand change and appeal to supporters with any courage to do the same. Ignore those who regularly bag us for daring to question. Let us fight the good fight and restore CFC to it's former glory and dispense with this corporate culture lie that has us breaking all the wrong records and paying huge salaries for the privilege.

Absolutely stand up and call for change/improvement but what sort of change???? "Sack him" isnt very constructive.
Maybe some of our problem is this "former glory" talk ... that was the period 1900-1958. Things have changed since then and will never be the same. Yes things needs to improve but to constantly look backwards to an era long gone is crazy talk.

I agree Lone Ranger, we really should be moving away from "former glory". It's not helping us now and there is only ever the NOW.

Emotive stupidity.

The one constant that has been a negative for us is our kicking for goal , maybe the players should take proper set shots at goals at the end of their training sessions instead of trying to slot inside-out bananas from the pocket.

Bah where have the naysayers been for 6 weeks? In Brisbane's current form, at the Gabba, every team who visits there will be smashed. Unfortunately we didn't play them earlier on before they sorted themselves out.

Lone Ranger spent a lot of time digesting my post for which I am greatful. Yet one thing stands out with my critics, they never have any specific suggestions to fix our crisis. Always find that interesting. Just bagging me is easy. Dealing with my formula, well that requires more.

I stand by my story. Lone Ranger you were wrong.

And thanks to Mark Williams for letting me use that line. It feels so good.

I think to a degree everyone is right...

We don't have the cattle at the moment...

We made some poor decisions regarding key match ups..

We still dont defend the center corridor properly against them.

We were wasteful at crucial periods (Tarkyn needed to get us going)

They are again at their best and we are, as much as we dont want to admit it, rebuilding.

Maxwell was one of the few who could say he tried.

And he doesnt go sooking to the media.

Why would he sook to the media when he is Micks favourite player?

He tried did he? Is that why he was constantly on his own and so was his opponent?
