South Oz cops eh? Wonder if they were in persuit at the time? What a waste of an SS. No expert in crashes, but looks as if he was T-Boned. Hope nobody was hurt. We've got these reddy/pink persuit monaros up here at the moment. Stick out like dog balls.

If there is any point to this, then I think it is the fact the drivers side airbag failed to deploy.
Hope they removed all the police issue additions and parked it outside GMH in Elizabeth.

Thought the "Deployed Airbag" signs show the air bags did fire. |

The signs are a little difficult to read, but they do say 'Undeployed Air Bag'.
The one on the steering wheel is probably the best. If you look closely, you'll see the letter N before the D, and once you see that, you'll find that the rest of the signs say the same thing.

Very true.
I can understand the steering wheel not deploying if the impact was side on, but the side bag should have gone off with such an impact. |
