With the year we have had I think the Copeland may be a race in 2 for mine
Pendles and Beams
While others may disagree I can't see any other player get close to these 2
They have been our most consistent players week in and out.
They attract plenty of attention but still seem to shine.
After these 2 I can see Goldy & Frosty in particular polling well.
Sidey's fan club will be up in arms but I don't think he has been as consistent this year as he was last. Yes he has had some great games but also had some very very quiet games.
So let's hear ya and see if I got it right.

Sidebottom had a much better year than Beams for mine.

Beams got a lot of it in certain games but he was woefully unaccountable and we were hurt by his direct opponent far too often. Plus for all the pot shotting of Sidey's dinky kicks, Beams got a whole lot of blind kicks around the corner that went nowhere near a team mate but he was for some reason given a pass for.

Steele's link, run and hard bloody work at both ends should see him win a Copeland this year from Pendlebury, just.

1st - Pendles
2nd - Beams
3rd - Sidey

Not sure on 4th or 5th but Frosty & Langdon may surprise.

Either Pendlebury or Sidebottom. I think Steele's suspension may just give it to Scott.

The top three are certainties though, just the order in question:

1. Pendlebury
2. Sidebottom
3. Beams

i did wonder how much the suspension might cost sidey. did pendles miss many games over above the recent late withdrawal?

i struggled to think of the next lot of placegetters after the top three.

I'd be in with a big chance if I'd played a few more games. Sad
