Just a report on CH10 News stating that the saints have been experimenting with caffeine - previously on the 'World athletics' banned list until the end of 2004.
Could this mean the end of Oranges at 3 quarter time & introduction of TeddyBears??,..... Geee i'm old! |

I've heard that up to 6 AFL clubs are experimenting with caffeine. It was taken off the banned list last year. |

If all our players claimed that they suffer from ADD Attention Deficit Disorder, they then would be prescribed Dexamphetamine tablets.
That should give them some go. |

They spoke about it for a while on 3AW - Tony Shaw/Bucks mentioned that they did that as a club back in about 1998ish. (6-7 years ago). |

I've used caffeine before workouts. Works wonders. 3 tablets of no-doze does the trick and its available over the counter. Forces your body to dip into fat stores, giving more energy available and also masks pain. It doesn't make you as jittery as the equivalent of drinking coffee for some reason. Just makes you feel like you can push yourself further. _________________ Go Pies!!! |
