I just recieved a text from somebody at training and I quote "I think Brayden just did his knee at training. Happened right in front of us in a tackle"

Obviously I don't want to jump the gun and its not confirmed, but the way were going with injuries at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Rotten luck for Brayden if it is the case.

Indeed it is sad news and I hope it isn't the case, but it is something that I can live with for the time being.

Not going to impact our year, but rotten luck if true !

Was pretty frightening stuff - the pain from Braydes looked VERY severe.

According to the AFL site:

Collingwood youngster Brayden Shaw has suffered an ankle injury at training on Wednesday and will miss the next three to four weeks.

The injury occurred when he fell awkwardly during training, yet his ankle did not suffer any fractures.

Wow - thats actually terrific news. I've gotta say it looked shocking and he seemed to be in a lot of pain, so a 3-4 week ankle is fantastic news for Braydes.

I'm one of the few guys who still rates Brayden, so I'm pretty relieved! Laughing

Yeah just like Rocca had an MRI which revealed that he had stuffed his calf and would only be out for 4 weeks. If you believe anything that comes from the club labelled "official" concerning injuries then I have a really nice bridge to sell you...

Balme...the king of BS!!

Cheers

another injury from training. I mean the coaching staff have come out and said that the surface we are training on has led to injuries. This is unnacceptable as we have paid a fortune for these facilities. Tarrant, Rocca, Fraser, Richards, Didak and now SHaw have all received injuries on this surface. Is it a problem. If it is im disgusted.

Is it just me or does it seem as if, ever since we went to these world class facilities, we have had an endless run of injuries??????????
And the majority of injuries have been to our top 5-6 players!

What the bloody hell is going on!

I agree with Northern Pie, On sen Balmey said Rocca was fine, this bloke should be a politician, Why didn't they give him a couple of weeks off to get over it, that decision has cost us dearly
