I was sitting down in my cave, pondering the latest case to across my desk. It was in the form of a letter. More specifically, a cryptically worded letter. It went something like this:

"You always travel it, wherever you go.
And you can kiss it, skip it, roll it and step on it, but cannot sow."

Really? On this particular weekend, he chooses now of all times to throw up a pie like that? The man never learns...

It was the easiest riddle the Cryptographic Sequencer has ever broken. "Milestone". Sure enough, it was the correct answer, and up on the screen, strings of letters and numbers started reeling off.

Sensing the familiarity of the jibberish, I thought the intrepid followers of this particular thread might be able to make sense of them:

A tale of two halves. Just the kind of case the former District Attorney loves.

Analysis of the crime scene reveals more of the same letters and numbers gibberish scrawled on the walls in the victims' blood, written on both sides of the French window leading out to the balcony. He's trolling now.

The computer has analysed the strings of gibberish, and they make for some interesting reading (and by "interesting", I mean in the purely academic sense of the word). Followers of this thread may be able to make use of them...

It was clearly a long night. And after eight years of being reminded of their natural place in the order of things, it was quite obvious that some Richmond supporters had spent the night doing some serious celebrating. Which, by their standards, was pretty hard-core boozing.

I was taken by an odour most foul emanating from a wall on the far side of the room. After analysing the wall with the evidence scanner, I discovered yet another collection of letters and numbers gibberish, this time scrawled across the wall in alcohol saturated urine.

When that mob celebrate, they really pull out all the stops.
