Do the Math?
Victoria created the bloody competition. Victoria created football
As far as Im concerned the non-victorian sides can piss off back to their own WAFL/SANFL etc

Done the Maths, that pathetic low-life wanker. But - why does a Victorian side have to go? Seriously? Why? Logic may suggest that, but in AFL, logic goes out the window...

Why not change things around that pathetic low-life wanker? There's no problem trying to send the game back to where it should be (a.k.a - so interstate obsessed).

Try and deal with the realities of the modern age, the AFL will not go backwards because there is no money in it, so they will continue to develop the national game, now if we want success then we dont need to be dragging 9 other Vic teams along on our financial coat tails

no need to get heated its just a discussion. It will be a tragedy to see victorian teams go however.

Yes the game has changed. But as Dave86 has said, would be tragic to lose any Victorian teams. Imagine if Collingwood folded, and how we would feel. Must have been gutwrenching for Fitzroy supporters.

Football is still good, but not the same. I remember as a teenager standing in the outer of Victoria Park, freezing cold, with my dad & his [snip] friends, skinning pumpkin seeds with their teeth from brown paper bags, watching the likes of Daicos and co. And after the match, kicking torpedoes on the ground, frostbitten hands, with a heavy, water-logged ball till it was dark.
That was real football.....

Its just very lucky that we are in the situation we are in now (money wise). Without the developments over the past two years, we may have been in the exact same boat as the Demons and Roos now.

A concise and well thought out rebuttal, it's clear there is no off position on your genius switch, now move along before I penis slap you and run the risk of being charged with assault with a deadly weapon

you'll be charged with handling swollen goods...

I hope no more teams are closed merged... gives the flag less value.

And what will a flag mean to you when the AFL is a two bit street whore of a competition in 10 years time ?

They seemed to mean a lot when the lions won three, sorry were handed three by that two bit street whore

Sorry dont mind me, im getting nasty flash backs of larger salary caps and lynch on more drugs than a Chinese swimmer.

By the way did anyone ever actually see what Lynch was getting up to in the goal square over the years? God forbid Taz ever try that

I would like to see foxtel have control of showing all games. If nine can not show live games on friday night and on sunday give it to someone else who will.

Exactly my thoughts on the idea. Why cant another channel show the game if its not going to be shown at all, or till 3am.
If theres some rubbish throwball game on nine on a friday night why cant they let channel two or someone show it?
