Wow, I've missed some fun on this post over the last month.
There's one little issue though that keeps pissing me off when you conservative lovers keep bringing up about Latham.
And that's the supposed falseness of his Collingwood support.
The guy started following them in 1970. His son was photographed in a SYDNEY news story innocently wearing a Pies jumper. How the hell is being a Pies supporter supposed to be a vote winner when they are universally the most disliked club in the country. HOW? Yes, they're also the most passionately loved as well (rightly so), but it's a vote loser, not a winner. The guy said it because that's who he follows; always has and probably always will!
Out of everything that's happened to him over the last month, if someone questioned my credibility as a Pies supporter when I obviously was I would want to hit someone. (Starting with Magpie Greg!) No hang on, I'm a non violent person.
I've learned to accept all of the other lies you Lib lovers dish out; water off a duck's...........but this continual slur really pisses me.
An apology then? Is that possible from any of you Howard lovers?

Good question. Maybe you should ask Paul Keating.......
It's an appeal to working class voters...... Collingwood has a tradition of being the working-class club, although of course that ceased to be years ago

What for??? Saying that Latham's publicity stunt was nothing more than that? Anyway Labour people come out with all sorts of silly claims about Howard such as the "stolen election" and that old one about how he "lied about the GST" (yes people still say that, unbelievably)
well maybe there is an apology due after all, from some of the labour supporters.
