The question wasn't, who did you vote for? It was, who do you think will win.
The Libs. |

Feel sick at the thought of another 3 yrs of Howard. More lies...........the injustice of it all.
I haven't felt like this since Taz got suspended. _________________ Hearing the 'Black & White Army' roar is the greatest sound in the world. |

Australia ... you've done it again.
You DESERVE John Howard.
I'm pretty shattered at the moment.
But I'll be laughing myself silly in a couple of years (or possibly less) when this bloated credit-driven economy collapses like a pricked balloon and you all lose your jobs and your homes and the Liberals are presiding over it all.
Let them then take the "credit" for their handling of the economy.
And I bet you that will be the time that our gutless Little Johnnie will finally step down and let Abbott or Costello take the blame.
That is, unless some civic minded citizen does the right thing and puts a bullet through his chimpanzee-like head before then.
Well done, Australia ... You have now proved beyond all debate that you are THE most stupid nation on Earth.
Enjoy your LOW INTEREST RATES, you suckers.
I bet they'll go EVEN LOWER after the credit-fuelled property boom has collapsed and your homes aren't worth the paper your mortgages are printed on.
Hey ... this result will be great for the ALL ORDINARIES, won't it?
It would have to be.
Because you've all shown just how bloody ORDINARY you ALL are.
This result makes me PROUD TO BE UNPATRIOTIC.
ADVANCE AUSTRALIA ... WHERE? |

Well said Alf.
As Pies supporters, we know what it's like to grit our teeth and have the faith that the wheel will turn and our day in the sun will come.
But it's becoming more and more like a one party state now, run by a little dictator who is able to use the most blatant propaganda and lies, wrapped up in fearmongering to fool the stupid, ignorant masses.
Appeal to the base human instincts of fear, greed and ignorance and you'll always be on a winner.
The dictators throughout history weren't wrong. Repeat big, big lies over and over and the myths of the interest rate BS will be implanted in minds small enough to receive the message.
And unfortunately, there is a majority of small minds in this country. _________________ Hearing the 'Black & White Army' roar is the greatest sound in the world. |

As a member of a family who lost our home in the early 90's because of the incompitence of Hawke/Keating i cant share your disapointment Alf. Im quite happy that there will be at least another 3 years of a conservative influence on our country.
Was Latham the answer? for a man who was only in charge of one economy (liverpool council) and it almost went bankrupt, i would say no. |
