Simmonds was very good at Freo, especially in the ruck.

However, with their lack of decent tall forwards they were forced to constantly leave him in the forward line and let big Sandilands amble around the ground.

The Dockers, in the past 10 year, would have the best the side worst at trading. Holland, Clement, McPhee, Simmonds, (Bellm and Farmer at one stage), McLeod, A.Wills, B.Krummell etc...they ahve to be the worst at it.
