josh hunt is a player i would be interested in if geelong wanna do any deals, had a few injuries but has recovered a fair bit this year. would be better than gardiner! id want more than just him if it was for pick 7 tho.

then again we could just keep pick 7 and get ourselves another danny roach!

Would take that deal in a second. Two very useful players.

I'd probably take Moloney, Gardiner and pick #32 for Pick #7, Moloney is gonna be a very good player, Gardiner's better than people are giving him credit for, and we do get a pick as well.

I think I'd prefer that deal to the Chapman/Wojcinski deal, as Moloney's a better player than either of those guys.

Gardiner lacks confidence. Chapman is good at been angry and is a decent goal sneak and his grunt could be handy round the middle - well take him and the other bloke!

the name charlie gardner is enough reason not to get him. Maybe we can get Henry Playfair in a stupid name package deal.

Charlie Gardiner, Brent Moloney & pick 32

for

Pick 7

I say do it!!!! - Gardner will be that 3rd or 4th tall forward that Williams will never be and Moloney will provide us with some grunt, long kicking and extra promising youth. Pick 7 is a gamble anyway (Re: Danny Roach) and we also receive a pick in this deal which can be either retained or on traded to say West Coast for Chad Morrison.

No way! Gardiner is honest at best and will never be good while Moloney is good but together they and a 2nd rounder aren't pick 7 matrerial

nup - not worth it. We don't need a forward (Tarrant, Rocca, Cam Cloke, Fraser, Davidson, we've got enough) and we don't need a HBF, we need a midfield, and we need Tenace, Kelly, Bartell. Molony would be ok but not for pick seven. Make them squirm for another day and then see if they're still untouchable.

There is no way you would trade pick 7 for Gardiner, you just wouldn't do it. I would prefer to take a risk with a young kid.

We may not get to deal with Geelong. I just heard a 3-way trade scenario was floated between Essendon, Port and Fremantle:

Fremantle gets Carr;
Port Adelaide gets Mark Johnson;
Essendon gets Ryley Dunn from Freo and their first pick (#11).

This was reported on afl.com.au. So, if Essendon are genuinely interested in Wojcinski they may offer Geelong pick #11 which, on Thursday or Friday afternoon, will be looking pretty good for Ottens.

So perhaps we keep #7. I know it's crazy but I have a strong feeling Richard Tambling is coming to Lexus.

I like that one, but Bartle is a much better deal.

If Bartel falls through...

Moloney & Milburn

Kelly + Round 2

Round 2 + Moloney
