If Geelong really want Ottens then we hold all the aces because Richmond want our pick # 7 and the only way they would get it would be through a 3 way deal like the one suggested. Bartel would be a good pick up, not so sure on Gardiner and Spriggs though.

The deal as posted didn't happen that way.

Although Ottens ended up at Geelong, Bartel and our pick #7 wasn't involved, so that ends the thread as originally posted.

I have just been listening to AW and it appears no deal is done yet.

I also find it difficult we could be so lucky to get Bartel and Gardiner (highly rated) and Spriggs (Jason Wild all over again). If its on - you'd take it.

Laidley saying the Pies are in the box seat but thinks Tiges will have to take two picks in the teens otherwise it will be over. He is inferring Pies will wait it out and try and land something big as a trade or take chances in PSD.

I am thinking we will be into someone for PSD - some big uncontracted player???
