Just reported on Ch7, then SEN (using 7 info) that Ottens has refused to go to North.

WANKER!

Why would you want to go to North? Isn’t he leaving the Tigers cause he is a money grabber? Not like North can afford to pay him the big bucks. Also ****house facilities, no financial security and with trading like two young guns, Teague and Morrell for an over the hill Corey McDud they are only going one way and that is down.

They'd have the money, otherwise they wouldn't bother going after him.

Roos have plenty of cap space after losing Stevo and King.

Ottens may be forced into the PSD.

So he wants to go to the Cats but the Cats don't want to give up anything decent to get him.

PSD looms large but, Miller, the members and rival factions will all be wanting to get something for him.

I reckon he'll go to the Cats or Swans for a first round pick and a player, even though Richmond say they aren't interested in players if it's the best they can get, they'll take it. I can see the first round draft pick, Nick Davis and another young player being all ruined at Richmond...

If he is forced into the PSD, the rumor is that the Hawks and Dogs won't be able to afford him and he will come to us.

Why did he refuse to go to North?

Geelong need to swing a deal to get Ottens, otherwise he has to stay with Richmond or go to whoever picks him up in the Pre Season Draft, and that could easily be North.

If he gets into the pre season draft, we are dumb enough to poick him up. I don't rate the bloke myself, but as people said last night, especially Mark Robinson on SEN late last night, could you imagine Tarrant, Rocca, Ottens, Fraser and Cameron Cloke floating through your forward line, with Richards and Ottens sharing ruck duals.

As much as i am loathed to say, it even impresses me.
