Post subject: Crawford againReply with quote

Apparently talks of him to Maggies are resurfacing again on Sen and papers.

30 yo earning over 600k would make it unlikely unless its part of a complex trade eg.

Crawford + pick 5 to maggies
Fraser, Presti, O'bree to Hawks (those 3 wages = Crawfords)
N.Thompson to Eagles
Morrison + round 1 to Hawks

Maggies can trade pick 7 to Kangas for B.Harvey who then use it for Ottens.

Overall Maggies
gain Crawford, B.Harvey pick 5, Lose Fraser, O'bree, Presti, Pick 7.

Hawks
gain Fraser, Presti, O'bree, Morrison, WC round 1 lose Crawford, Thompson, pick 5
WC
Gain Thompson lose Morrison, round 1
Kangas Gain Ottens lose, B. Harvey and 1st round

Post subject: Fraser.....No Way!Reply with quote

Cant even think to believe that you would give away Fraser! I swear once we get a decent ruckman we can leave that big man in the foward line and he will be a 3 - 4 goal man a game! Sure Crawford is a great player but think about how many years he has left in him... My say 2 maybe 3 left if he aint plauged with injury. Fraser, No.1 Draft Pick and still has a damn load of potential still to show! Really Dont under estimate Big Josh Fraser!

Don't like that we lose 2 bigs and gain 2 smalls.

Harvey is a guy that I've never really like cos he's never really played that well agaist us.

IMO crawford is'nt someone we should be chasing. he would have been handy 2 years ago.

I would be very suprised to see josh fraser traded.

Crawford is on record saying if he leaves the Hawks it won't be his choice.

We cannot afford to pay Shane who is 30 for no return (his back is *ucked). Our record with aging footballers coming to our club is terrible so why keep trying. Crawford is at the Epworth Hospital weekly for an epidural before each game.

We need a young quality on baller who is injury free.

I expect Crawford to retire, he will not be a Magpie.

fraser is not going anywhere.
will everyone stop trying to include him in trades.
i dont think we would even trade josh for chris judd.

leave fraser alone!
he will be our next captain and play in our first premiership since 1990

I heard about this, but didn't think it was worth posting, because I reckon it is total crap.

I cant believe the amount of people who keep mentioning Fraser. Dont they realise this guy is an untouchable. Collingwood is chasing Jolley from Melbourne so we can free up Fraser to go forward and be the key lynchpin in our forward line. Just wait till this Guy is captain and kicking 60 plus goals a year because it will happen.

Just watched the Collingwood Wall To Wall DVD. Josh Fraser's playing/marking resemblance to a certain Collingwood Brownlow medallist is uncanny.

I can't see us going after Jolly, with Richards developing. Having said that, they might want him as a back up.
