Doubt it. He should go top 4, if not pick 1.

The big quiery on Richard is, that he is only 180cm and a very light 68KGs.

This and that fact that he will be a long way from his normal environment - coming from NT to say Vic- would be the only reasons clubs with the earliest picks might overlook him.

However, the kid is that talented he is still largely expected to go top 3 or 4.

Doubt very much that he will still be there at 7 but, would love to see him at the pies. Perhaps we could trade for a higher pick and snag him.

There is a good review of him on the footy draft site-

Strengths: "Tambling is football’s version of the Human Highlight Reel. An extremely exciting onballer and flanker, he has blistering pace and is capable of the extraordinary. He has the ability to tear a game apart with his brilliant skills, running and ability to kick impossible goals.

Tambling is a good leader and was captain of the NT side in the recent carnival. He works very hard defensively, his tackling and smothering is a real feature. His hands are extremely clean and he can be damaging at the stoppages."

Sounds like Aaron Davey or Wells.

sounds like a grat pick - up lets hope that he is still there when pick 7 comes around - finishing this low does have its advanteage we can actually look at the draft and get excited and noy have to wait until half of them are gone.

He won't be around at 7.

Unfortunately he's likely to go between picks 4 and 6 and as such unlikely to be around at 7. That said, if he is, no doubt he'll be picked up by the Pies. He is an excitement machine, his first few years he'll be similar to Andrew Krakouer, if he fills out in time, the kid will excite like Wells is starting to.

I guess you never know. I can't see him lasting to pick 7, but other clubs might need different things to what we do.

Apparently him and Jarryd Roughhead have had their differences at the draft camp. They had to be seperated due to a few altercations.

Tambling wants to go to the dockers if he can so he can play chess with Des Headland.
