They want him and will get him. I had discussions with someone in the coaching staff at Essendon. So lets see what we get of it's true. |

Send Solo our way. Essendon only want McGough so he doesn't blitz them on Anzac Day every year.
Who would we want from Essendon if they were to get McGough?
I'm thinking we will get dudded, either way. |

Daniel Kerr and Ben Cousins had a massive punsh on a few years back?
They worked it out, and the MJ - Taz fight was blown way out of proportion. It was a misunderstanding, and NEITHER threw the massive punches that were reported.
Dont think its that much of a risk. If Kerr can cheat on Cousins sis (from what i remember) and them work it out and play well together, im sure Jonno and Taz could. They dont have to like each other to play well together!!! |

I really can't think of a player at essendon that is of equal value to mcgough that we would even want. They are one of the few teams in the comp with a slower list than us. Maybe stanton would be ok. |

For some reason, I have always pictured McGough in an Essendon Guernsey, I think they may want him too.
Pity Hird is getting on a bit, maybe we'll take Lloydy? _________________ If you bleed black and white you'll never walk alone. |

Can't see Sheedy giving up too much to get McGough, although he has played some good games against them.
No way would we get either of the Johnsons or Solomon. They have some decent kids - Dyson and Stanton show a bit. |

Solomon for Mcg? - I think not. However if we trade some of Shaw, O'bree and Presti and some of the trades get us draught picks as well as players, then Mcg and a couple of round 2's might do the trick.
If we can get Solomon, it also helps our midfield since he could fill the role currently being reserved for Maxwell. Maxwell would make a great wingman - reasonable pace, good skills, good composure, accountability and his relatively light frame would not be a major liability.
The alternative is Mcg + round 2 for Ess round 1. We could ontrade Ess round 1 + Presti to Melbourne for C.Bruce or T.Jonstone or to Kangas for B.Harvey. _________________ Beware the embrace of the collingwood python |
