Nathan Thomson exiting the hawks?

Anyone know his contract status with the hawks? He's in WA with his g'friend and baby. I saw him yesterday. He's probably on holiday over here but hey, it's the silly season and I figured I'd join in the rumour mill, and what I saw yesterday would be good enough for a shite mike story to be printed. Is he over here sussing out the eagles or dockers?

I doubt he will be leaving the Hawks. I think that they'd want to support him through the next year or two with his depression.

Both Perth sides need a tall forward, so that may be the reason. But I doubt he'd leave.

Chris Mainwaring listed a whole pile of players the WA based teams were interested in and his name was mentioned. As I said, he looked like he was on holiday as he was on his own with his family and not being courted by anyone but he is over here so tongues will wag.

Papers are now saying that Thomson wants out.

Could just be the CHB we need. If anyone could get the most of him, its MM.

Wouldn't use him at CHB, try him as a mobile ruck rover. Similar to Fraser.
