I have plugged in my crystal ball and contacted my spirit guides to look into the future and I have seen the following (by team bottom up)

Richmond wanting to go into rebuilding and short of money will try and offload Gaspar and Richardson. They will find no takers on Gaspar, but Brisbane, with Lynch on his last legs and a surplus of midfielders, will see the opportunity to maintain their structure and extend their reign. Will offer Notting for Richardson – deal done.
They will offer Collingwood round 2 for R.Shaw -deal done. With Notting, Bowden, Brown, Coughlan and Krakouer forming the basis of their centre they will go for KPP as draught picks – Franklin (1) and Willets(4).

Hawthorn also will go into rebuilding. Will lose Hay to W.coast and get Wirrapunda in exchange. Smith will want to go to Saints but they won’t fit him into their salary cap. In desperation Hawks agree to Smith to Carlton in exchange for Witnell and round 2- deal done. They try and offload Holland and Barker but find no interest. They try and do a deal with magpies on Crawford asking for pick 7 for him. Collingwood rejects offer and counters with round 2 and O’bree. Hawks reject offer Crawford stays. With holes everywhere, they will decide to go best available and look for KPP next year. They take Deledio (2), Griffen(5) and KPP B Wilkes(21) .

Doggies trade round 2 for O’bree to magpies. In desperate need of a KPP and with Franklin gone, they will take Roughead (3). They will then take the best available Tambling at 6.

The Magpies having announced a keenness to trade target a speedy midfielder as their first Priority. Brett Harvey at Kangas is the one they zero in on. They Kangas are keen on McGough to replace Stevens but the sticking point is who else they expect as part of an exchange. They ask for our pick 7 and are knocked back. Maggies trade Lokan to Adelaide for round 2 and offer McGough, + 3 round 2’s (our own, from doggies for O’bree, plus round 2 for Lokan to Adelaide – still leaving us round 2 from Richmond). Given the eveness of the draught to number 30 after first 6, and with an eye to the long term, Kangas agree, deal done. Dons try Riolli for Davis and are rejected counter with Riolli and round 1(pick 14) for Davis, Nixon and Mullins. Offer accepted and Maggies quickly ontrade Bombers round 1 plus Presti to Demons for Colin Sylvia. Collingwood take Jordan Lewis pick 7, T.Cloke father/son. Delist Williams, Crow, Shakleton. Promote Maxwell, and take Jarrad as rookie. Having lost Mcgough, Shakleton, take J. Moore who is a tough ball magnet who can kick well with either foot (20).

Adelaide lose Stenglein. Offer Freo Stenglein + Lokan to Freo for Round 1. Freo Accept. Adelaide take midfielders Monfries (Cool and Eckerman (10).

Carlton lose Witnell + round 2, gain Smith. They try to trade but no one wants anything from them. They take classy midfielder Sharp (9).

Kangas- see trades with magpies. Trade Harding and round 2 to Port get S.Dew,– Port ontrade Harding to Essendon for round 2. Kangas take C.Wood ruck (11), get Jesse Smith father son, KPP A.Hartlett (22) and pacy long kicking midfielder A.Swallow (23) .

Freo – see Adelaide trade.

Wcoast- Get Hay lose Wirrapunda. Take Grundy (12).

Melbourne: Gain Presti, pick 14 lose Sylvia. Take classy forward/wing Ryan Jackson (13), F. Delucca ruck. (14)

Essendon:- See Magpie trade. Lose Misiti, and Wellman. Try and offload Mercuri but no takers. Get Harding for round 2. Try a swap for McViegh and Rasmanaskus find no takers. Swap Cupido for Milne in a straight swap. Take Ryan Bain (15)

Geelong- cannot find anyone who will take Spriggs, Kingsley or Enright for what they really need a good forward. Take Matt Little (16).

StKilda:- Gain Cupido lose Milne. Choose ruckman Meesan (17).

Brisbane after Brown’s suspension finish 2nd. Get Richardson for Notting. Lose McRae, Lynch retired. Take Chad Gibson for kpp (1Cool.

Port: - Lose S. Dew gain 2 round 2’s, Regain Francou and Primus. Take forward T. Murphy (19).

Oops blown fuse can’t see any further.

Net for Collingwood
Gain:- Brent Harvey, C. Sylvia, Riolli, Maxwell (promoted), Jarrad (rookie), T.Cloke, Jordan Lewis, Jarred Moore and rounds 4+5.

Lose:- Presti, L.Davis McGough, Lokan, Nixon, O’Bree, Mullins, Shakleton, Crow, Williams, R.Shaw.

PS. No one wants Kinnear so have to hold on to him 1 more year till his contract expires.

Interesting indeed. I can't see the Demons getting rid of Sylvia - 3rd pick last year! The Saints would never trade Milne for Cupido. Gasper will leave the Tigers, but you'd be stupid to lose Richo, who wins them at least 3 games a year. Whisper is that Whitnall will go.

A player can't be traded to one lub then ontraded to another. Therefore, the Crows deal with Stenglin and Lokan will not happen.

Richmond to trade Gaspar for a new Tiger mascot - old one getting a bit ratty after their fans turned on the poor bugger after Hawthorn loss. Considered the best deal of the trade week.

I'd Love Richo at the Pies. He could kick 70+ for us with roccas 50+ and Taz running around taking marks like a madman.

Rioli will not be at the Pies - even for free.

Bombers would trade Rioli to increase the pace and decrease the weight of the team.

Bombers will not get Magic but will be very interested in Cheesy and MCG with the departure of Mercuri and Misiti.

Pies do not have a very good history of coming out well with trades to the Bombers.

Enjoyed the read even if there was a stench of rubbish in the air.

Not a rats chance in hell that Sylvia will be anywhere but Melbourne next year, nor would Sheedy part with Rioli, the guy speaks of him so highly its not a chance.

We don't need Rioli. Too slow and unfit. Yes, he has skill, but we have enough players like him. Sheedy loves him, so he will not go anywhere in the next three years.

Gasper is gone. Full stop - end of story. He is dead as a footballer. Yet Wallace said on Sports Today that he may still play next year at Tigerland - work that one out! Rolling Eyes
