Also, no way known that Hawthorn will get near Ivan Maric. He'll be at the West Coast and has been informed already that he will be personally groomed by Glen Jakovich.

That mock draft is complete garbage. We already have developing ruckman which we have invested a lot of years in. Why would we draft another ruckman to take another 3 years of development with when we have midfielders that are going to retire in about 3 years. I would dare say midfielders and defenders are more of a priority for us!

Well no, unless a 202cm+ very agile and skilled ruckman happened to be available - then you'd be silly not to pick him up, they are much rarer than quick midfielders. Then use the other picks to get quickies.

Of course you would. But that is very unlikely, so we need to go for the quick and skillful midfielders along with a crumbing forward. If we don't get one I will be very annoyed.

I think that's what we're all trying to work out!

What we need is a site which seriously matches up each side to the available talent. The AFL website posts a "mock draft" but not until mid November, just ahead of the actual draft, which timing means it's totally useless for our purposes, even though it is accurate.

They can't put it up yet until the trade period is over.

I really hope Tambling survives to come to us. Maybe thats why we need to trade with the Dogs. We need aplayer of his ilk.
