Wirrapuna and Leon to Swap teams. Like everyone else I take that with a grain of salt, but Leon did say he liked playing in front of his family when we beat Freo and Wirrapunda does want to come back to Victoria and is struggling to get a game. Wet Toast & Pies have a good record for these types of swaps.
Time will tell. |

Trade won't happen, not like that anyways. Bottom line is a contracted player that is to be traded must want to leave, they do have a say. Now, all being equal, I'm appreciative that Leon wants to be with his family (however my knowledge has it that 80% of his immediate family now live in Melbourne) but he is not so brazen to think that he will get a game in a Wet Toast team that has Ashley Sampi, Phillip Matera and players of the ilk of Daniel Kerr and Ben Cousins resting in a forward line. He will get better opportunities with Collingwood and or a different club, but neither WA based team would have an immediate need for a small forward. |

I agree Nath, that's why I take it with a grain of salt. |

Good Analysis Nath he would find it hard to fit into either WA side. I tell you what Wirrapunda would a bloody great pick up for us though, but I am a huge wrap for Davis especially when he turns it on I reckon he is one of the most exciting players to watch in our side. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

I don't think you can play Wirrupunda and Cole in the same team. Both are loose type backmen who back themselves in for everything, including trying to take the hangar when they should punch and taking on opponents at all times.
That said, I think Richie is where Wirrupunda was maybe 4 years ago, without the knee injury, his pace still good and looking at stepping into the midfield.
If Wirrupunda comes back to Melbourne, expect him to land in Carlton |

Nah, once again, Wirrapunda is overrated. Leon will be a star. |

I heard a different slant on this saying Woewodin for Wirrapunda. Since he's a W.A. lad. But I think he's recent work off half back will stand him in good stead and he'll say with in 2005. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Bullshit trade. We'd never do it. For Woey, i'd expect Wirrapunda, Braun and Cox. |

Woey won't be traded. We've never traded a Copeland Medallist in the year he gets it. |

No. Too often the club gives up my favourite players. If these two left, i'd cry. COME BACK ROOP! |
