Whats your favorite computer game (pc/consol)?
mine at the moment is "Sudden Strike 2", brilliant war/strat game only let down by its wierd multi player setup.
my all time favorites would be, Janes attack squadron (WWII fighter sim), red alert 2, Unreal tornament GOTY edition and V8 Challenge.
what are yours? _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |

My favourite playstation game ever is 'Crash Team Racing!' I play it allllll the time! I could never get bored of it as I've been playing it for like 5 years!
My fave PC game is Moonstone. It is off of the Amiga Commodore computer.. Did anybody have one of those? Well anyways, my lovely friend Michael managed to somehow put it on modern computers for me! yayay!

My favourite PS2 game is "This is Soccer 2003", it is so much better than AFL Live 2004. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

G'day Lisey m8, I have crash team racing on the ps aswell, good game like most of the crash games
I used to have about 16 Amiga computers, I used to be a bit of an Amiga fanatic, sold them just before we moved south, there are some very good emulators for the Amiga and you can get most old games to work on the pc, I still have a stack of "roms" _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |

I'd recommend Grand Theft Auto: Vice City if anyone hasn't heard of it. I'm about half way through it on the PC but you can get it on PS2 aswell. Basically you run around a city where everyone is going about their own business, and you just cause total mayhem. It's a violent one but pretty funny if you've got that slightly sick sense of humour. The other day I was running along the street killing innocents with a chainsaw! |

My bother loves Moonstone. They did actually release it for the PC. I was never any good at it!
My favourite game/game series of all time is the Jagged Alliance games. If you ever get the chance to buy/play Jagged Alliance 2, I highly recommend it.
Another one of my favourites is Carmageddon. _________________ "There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me... you can't get fooled again." - Oscar Wilde |

JA2 is a vast improvement on JA in terms of graphics, complexity and size. It's a 6 year old game, but I still play it. _________________ "There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. My favourites atm would have to be AFL Live 2004 and Jak 2 (both on ps2)Also, i'm loving Lode Runner2 on PC. I used to play this game everyday with my cousin when i was about 12 but then it got wiped from the computer and i couldnt find it for ages. But I came across a website the other day and found it!!! WOO!, It's a basic game.. Guy runs around, trying to collect gold while trying to avoid enemies. Sounds simple, but it gets really hard!... there are 150 levels and i'm stuck on level 23!. here is a link to the website that i found it on.. there are hundreds of thousands of games there! You can basically find any game you want. Check it out

Was anyone else here big Quake 2 fanatics? That was a revolutionising game and I would have played that more than any other game by far.
We used to get about 20 people in a game of CTF every night at the college where I was staying.
I even designed a level of our college and often recorded our games to edit them and made highlight films.
LAN parties were the best with about 80 people playing in one tournament all night. |

Quake 2 is a very very good game and was my favorite of that type until UT came along, Q2 still gets pulled out for a play every now and then and it still has a really good feel to the game, shame they couldn't capture the feel of it for Q3 tho. lol the 1st time I ever played Q2 was on a LAN game and it instantly was a must have. _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |
