The Bible is history, but it is also relevant to life as it is today. It has the answer to basically all mans questions and problems.

Well you need it if you want to know whats right and wrong according to God. How do you know whether you need the Bible to find the answers or not? Do you know all the answers to where we came from? The Bible can't be proven but it also can't be proven false, no one knows whether they need it or not, no one has the answers we only have our beliefs.

How does wanting to live according to God's wishes make someone mentally weak? I've always thought mental toughness is more about a persons determination and perseverance, so I'm baffled as to how you can describe it as mentally weak. Consider this: Is it easier to maintain complete faith in something that science can or can't prove?

As for 'Mad' I've never picked up a comic book in my life, that sort of thing wouldn't do anything for me. Personally I like watching Mother and Son which is being repeated again...classic show and still funny Very Happy

Birdy watch out, LD will start with his contradictions and semantics garble again, and Joel will be right on the money with his thread that never ends song.

Birdy sometimes we have to remember to refer to scripture like Matt 7:6 and move on.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It also gets a bit boring arguing the same stuff over and over.
