I thought that Rookies could only be promoted if a player was going to miss the season or something. Tarkyn is only going to miss a few weeks though isn't he?

I was very impressed by luke, i wasn't expecting him to move mountains because it was his first game but he did do a few good things in the first half, showed some very good skills. He made a few mistakes but he would of been as nervous as hell ,got pinged for throwing in the first few minutes which wouldn't have helped. i think he should get to play a lot more games this year and in years to come.

Kingy aslo showed a bit in the last half when he got more time on the ground. He looks like he will need a bit of time to adjust the this level of play, by given time he should be a fairly handy sort of a player.

ConBigWig,
Don't get me wrong I think Mullins has the potential to be a decent player. However lets not fool ourselves, I don't think he's exactly star material. Hope I'm proved wrong.
If he can become a part time midfielder who can rack up 15-20 possesions a game I think he's doing well. Will need to play well this week with the possibiltiy of Bucks and Burns out and Lica and Woey in terrible form.

If a player is deemed to have a long term injury, a rookie can be elevated for the time the senior listed player is injured. Once he is declared fit for selection, the rookie then get demoted back to the rookie list. This situation ocurred when Damian Peverill was first on Essenscum's rookie list.

I still can't find where it says the Zane has been officially elevated to the senior list.

I have read elsewhere that Zane had been promoted to the senior list for Tarks. However, when Tarks does return, Zane can then replace Tom Davidson for the rest of the year.

I read on Nick's that someone heard Bux say that Zane had been promoted, but no mention of it on the CFC site, nor the AFL site.

If anyone has a link that states OFFICIALLY that Zane has been promoted, then can you post it here, even if just to pacify me.

Obviously the Collingwood match committee didn't think too much of Mullins. Dropped this week!! I am definitely not one to bag individual players but there are several who should have been dropped before him after last week.

No Doubt you would be thinking along the lines of O'Bree

Hasn't he been named on an extended bench?

Didn't he start on the bench last week?

Unless he runs out for Williamstown tomorrow, he hasn't yet been dropped.

I think on last week's performances there are probably more players who deserve to be dropped ahead of him than should be retained!! However O'Bree has been disappointing, along with Rhyce Shaw and Alan Didak.

I can't understand why MM has brought him into the seniors only to drop him after one useful performance. Its not as if we have vast numbers of in-form players. It honestly can't be doing the kids confidence any good at all.

Very unlucky. He looked skilled and very classy last week. I hope he doesn't loose confidence.

According the paper today, Willams and Mullins have been dropped, and King is on the bench.
