I reckon the Bee Gees earlier stuff was pretty good, but I'm not really a fan of the disco type stuff like Stayin' Alive. |

By and large with Tess on this one.
Not always a big one for them as performers ands was definitely not a fan of the disco era BUT time and a closer examination of their music states there was a lot more to them.
Like many other acts that have lasted, they managed to reinvent themselves (not always perhaps to one's specific taste) to different styles with considerable skill.
It is however as songwriters of the v highest calibre, both for themselves and other artists, that they should be recognised.
These sort of lists are always subjective and sadly those compiling are liable to push their own opinions, tastes and prejudices. The public are the ultimate judges. _________________ he's an animal, what can u expect!!! |
