I've heard that Tess. However, I still haven't seen proof that they were charged. No club has contacted Nick's, but I don't think it is a case of trying to cover things up, rather, it is innocent until proven guilty, and if certain clubs don't want to comment on the issue (seeing as though when they were allegedly charged - the case didn't progress) then they don't have to. Even if they were charged, obviously, there wasn't enough evidence to suggest there was a case. There is a presumption of innocence

Okay, I've seen inthe Hun today that Heuskas and Burgoyne were charged, but they were dropped because the DPP didn't think he has enough evidence. So, if this is going to be discussed, please keep in mind that there were not found guilty (they didn't even go to court), so be careful when throwing allegations around.

exactly, if they get themselves into the situation then thats too bad for them.
everyone else who commits crimes gets named, so why shouldnt they. hopefully it wil make others think twice about doing it.

Sorry, I messed that bit up. Like I said, feel free to discuss the allegations and the players, but keep in mind that they are allegations, are you have to be careful. CQ, when discussing criminal allegations, you have to very careful the way things are said. For example, 'everyone knows he is a rapist, because he was charged a ten of years ago' (not talking about anyone in particular). That can be construed to be defamation, whether you like it or not.

This thread was actually about Burgyone, O'Loughlin and Hueskas. As I have said twice now, you can talk about the players, but don't throw allegations around. ie. I heard that they did this and that.

the only things i have 'heard' that theyve done have been in the papers.

i think if theyre going to be suing someone 4 defamation they wil go for them, not the millions of ppl on internet sites.

No, but they can just as easily get sites closed down. Similar to what happened over in England recently, where soccer sites were forced to close down because of allegations people were throwing around (due to similar circumstances).

What you don't believe me? Didn't you hear about the 3 English players that got arrested in Spain (I think I posted an article in the NRL in trouble thread)? Anyway, whatever CQ, you are always right.
