...On how long the new Footy Show set will last!
How god-awful is it?
The panellists just blend into it in medium to long shots. Blurry background crowd shots? What were they thinking?
My bet? 3 weeks.

I'll let you know Big E. It's a red letter day for footy fans in the ACT. Somebody made a programming error at WIN. They have got the Footy Show on at 11.30pm. They must have run out of tired old programs to fill up the time until 2am. _________________ Do not adjust your mind. The fault is in reality. |

Yea you may not get the Vic games live. But what about the interstate matches played Friday or Saturday nights.
It does not matter here in QLD. We get all night games at about 1 am.
Oh...unless it is the Lions playing.
The pies could be playing Port and the Lions playing the Bulldogs, we will get the Lions game live. _________________ All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

I think the main problem is that the background is a little bit too bright. You'd think they would have tested it or something before going live with it lol _________________ Tradition? bwphantom, friday night games are not live as ch9 has the rights, exceptions being western aus games.
Sat nights are live as ch 10 don't have anything that rates like Burkes Backyard! |

Like I posted in the Footy Show thread, I agree. That set was shocking, and they better change it before the season starts. However, I do remember them doing a similar thing a few years ago, when before the season started they had a Footy Show, like they did last night, and everybody complained that the set was shocking. IIRC, On the first episode back Sam got up and grabbed an axe and started hacking into the set, and then he threw paint on it. I hope it doesn't last long, it is a complete turn off. |

Yeah, it just stood out too much for my liking. I was trying to concentrate on what was being said but I kept looking at the background set instead! Hopefully it's only temporary!!!

Did't think it was that bad except for the long shots. During the close ups I tend to concentrate on the face of the person speaking. As far as the show itself goes,I thought it was alright. _________________ Do not adjust your mind. The fault is in reality. |
