Howard sues Langer over theft of monicker

Australian Prime Minister John Howard has commenced legal action against Australian opening batsman - Justin Langer, over the theft of his nick name - the brown nosing gnome.

Langer, who was referred to by the above name on internet cricket commentary provider Crininfo, during Western Australia's ING cup loss to Queensland, dismissed the Prime Minister's claims, stating that he was of the understanding that the PM was known as the brown nosing dwarf, and not the brown nosing gnome at all.

Meanwhile, Scanlens cricket cards bearing Langer's nickname have been recalled pending the results of the legal procedings.
