Another big one for The Tassie Tigers.

They are only 4 points ahead of a fast finishing Queensland Bulls and The Bulls have already racked up 362 on the first day of their match against The Warriors.

Their win in the ING Cup game, on Saturday, will give them some confidence against The Vics and if they happen to beat them again, The Bushies will hardly be heartbroken as they'd rather play Tassie in the final than The Bulls.

No doubt Tasmania will use the only tactic they have. Declare behind and then set up a run chase for the last innings.....lmao

too easy for the Vics.......i say bat for 4 days and keep them out in the sun.

What a great season Elliott is having. Well, Elliott, Hodge and Hussey for that matter.

Elliott is 137 n.o. and Hodge, 92 n.o. - 192 run partnership. Mott made 32. 1/263 after 85 overs.
-------------------------------------

The partnership reaches 200 as Hodge approaches another century. Bang ! He does it with a six. 103 n.o.

Elliott (162 n.o.) and Hodge (115 n.o.) have added 241 for the second wicket.

Is the wicket too "batsman friendly" to bowl Taswegia out twice then?

No mate, just a good first day wicket. It'll get tougher for the batsmen towards the end of the 3rd. day.

Plus Wise, Inness and Lewis represent a pretty good pace attack and if they don't do the job well there's a certain leggie just busting to get his hands on the pill. Laughing

5/409 at lunch. Hussey made 19 and White, 39.
----------------

8/474 as Berry is dismissed for 39. Moss made 35 and Warne, 18.

Doherty has 4/140.
----------------------------------------------

Doherty takes his 5th. as The Bushies edge toward 500.

All out for 494 as Wise is stumped by Klingeleffer from Doherty (6/149)

Warne and White must be grinning. Very Happy
