Aussie Test ace joins Notts

Nottinghamshire have signed Australian batsman Damien Martyn as their second overseas player for the 2004 season. MacGill is playing there too, and apparently david hussey has been lined up to replace Damien if he is required for international duty.


Looks like Damien is planning for his pension already...Ł75K for a season of rained out games, asparagues rolls and a couple of pints of Fursty Ferret!

Perhaps Bradley should have assessed his options on his county sojourns. England and Bangladesh would be his best hopes of intl representation.
