Lee gets the key wicket of Laxman as well to go along with his fine catch earlier.

Aussies well on the way to winning the series and Brett Lee is proving his worth in the one day arena.

When you're hot your hot as Bill Lawry said......lol Nice fielding by Martyn and good to see Aussies can still hit 1 stump.

It was a suicide single by Dravid who really only has himself to blame. Ganguly isnt doing much better either and Very very Special Laxman who was rocketing up the one day charts fell cheaply.

Great captaincy by Ponting to have the leg gully type fieldsman in Brett Lee and great fielding by Lee to back up the captains move.

Dave, they were in deep trouble before the game started when they had to go in without Kumble and Agarkar.

And it showed. To the tune of 359 runs.

I dont think the Indian batsman have recovered from the Perth games....lol

Its a bit of a disappointing end to the series as for much of the summer the Indians have played fantastically well. It was perhaps a bit unrealistic to expect the very unexperienced attack to be ablt to contain the Aussies. Hopefully the young Indian bowlers have learnt a lot from this tour and will apply them against other opposition in series to come not of as high a quality as the Australians.

The move of Dravid as wicket keeper is very dodgy. I don't think it has ever really worked.

True, their bowling didn't trouble Australia that much, like it has in the past, and having Dravid as wicket keeper hasn't helped their batting that much, Patel should be the wicket keeper FULL TIME rather then having a part time keeper like Dravid.

Yes, the Aussie attack does look good and with no recognised spinner.

Harvey does a top job as 4th. bowler and there are Symonds, Clarke and even Katich to make up for the 5th. bowler.

It will be interesting to see whether McGrath is a walk up start to the one day arena. Will the selectors applay the Shane Warne earn your spot policy to him ?? The blwoing attack looks pretty settled at the moment. It will be interesting to see what unfolds.

No doubt McGrath will walk straight back into the team unless they feel the need to keep McGrath for tests only.

They'll probably drop Williams, if McGrath is selected for the One Day team again. That is unless they decide that Williams is a better option in the One Dayers.

There's no way Pigeon will be going to Sri Lanka with the one day squad. The first match is less than two weeks away.

He had to pull out of a proposed comeback game this week as his injury flared again.

Unless he has a complete recovery, I think JLC is on the money with his Tests only comment.
