Langer mistimes a drive at Kartik and is caught by Sehwag for 47. 2/92.

Another selfless Innings from Langer. Thats two in one match.

I am extremely disappointed that Hayden went out as he was a big key as he plays spin bowling so well. Maybe the drinks were spiked ??

This is a good time for Martyn to assume some responsibility in the team and deliver a well over due century for the team.

A useful knock by Martyn in keeping with his average......lol When will Damian convert a start into a big score for the Aussies when it matters most ??

I think Murali will be hoping that Martyn tours Sri Lanka

Well they haven't exactly shut up shop but the run rate has dropped appreciably.

After 52 overs, it's 3/187. Ponting is 46 n.o. and Waugh, 6 n.o. and Martyn made 40 before falling to kumble. His 10th. wicket for the Test.

The asking rate is now 6.3 r.p.o.

I think the Aussies are trying to get down to a scenario of around 100 runs from the last 15 overs or 150 runs from 20 overs

They are keeping wickets in tact and then will unleash Gilchrist who is overdue for a big score and Brett Lee who can hit a cricket ball.

However they dont want to make their move too early and lose wickets and expose the tail.

Ponting gone !

4/196 just before tea.

It's now tea. 31 overs to come. 239 needed from 186 balls. It's a big ask but it's still possible.

Katich and Waugh bat well together and Gilly is next in.

Hang on to your seats, we could see the best finish ever, a creditable draw or an Indian victory.

And guess who's at the wicket at the start of the last session of the fifth day ? In his last Test. With a fairytale finish possible.

Who wrote the script for this Test ? Alfred Hitchcock ?? Very Happy

It's still going.

Tugga just brought up his 50th. fifty in Test cricket.

17 overs to come. Almost 10 r.p.o. needed for a win. Gilly next in.

Mmmmmmmmmmm .....

This team will sure miss Steve Waugh as he is such a fighter and a champion.

7 overs to come.

Waugh is 69 n.o. and Katich, 62 n.o. A 129 run partnership.

They have stopped the run chase but had a real go.

Survival now.

Tries for a six and is caught on the boundary by Sach from Kumble for 80.

Great knock. Well done, Tugga.

Gilly comes in, blocks one drives the next for 4 and is then stumped. 12 wickets tp Kumble. Dizzy comes to the crease and plays a beautiful cover drive for 4.
