If Carlton got Stevens for priority pick 2 who would they offer for Scotland?

From their list the only ones who would be of any interest would be Camporeale, Whitnell, Favola or Lappin. Failing that, it is unlikely that Collingwood would give Scotland as a charitable donation. The same goes for any of the other names from the other clubs that Carlton are courting. Fact is, Carlton just hasn't got much to offer as trade.

From that list Favola would be interesting as a third tall mobile option on the forward line. Alternatively, some trade involving McKernan ontraded to North for Morrel as the 3rd tall mobile forward.

Carlton won't trade their first pick.

Just to correct myself. I might be wrong on that. Apparently, that's what they are offering for Stevens.

You are right they are and Port are willing but Stevens God Bless him, is refusing to go to Carlton.

Carlton would be stupid to want to trade their valuable priority pick, they need it, a lot to say the least!

They have said that they will use it, if they need to. I commented elsewhere: Typical of Carlton to go for the short-term fix, for a long-term problem.

Carlton have scored with Morrell and Teague for Mckernan, Two talented youngsters for an aging ruckman? Laidley must be nuts

I heard on the news tonight that Stevens has said he is not going to Carlton and the only club he wants to go to is Collingwood and apparently we are giving Port Heath Scotland, Mark McGough and a draft pick!!

Scoots and MCG.....are more than enough they don't deserve to get a draft pick as well.....I say screw em..let them sweat out the fact that at 2pm tomorrow they get nothing...then at 1:40 pm go in there and offer them pick 17 or nothing....

Cheers
