**** Port they can keep him.

The only reason they would get Presti is they know that Tredrea is his bitch.

On 3AW tonight Max Stevens (Nick Stevens manager) said that MM arrived back from London today and said that Didak and Presti will not be traded. Sounds like Choco wanted Didak and Presti.

Choco wants anyone as they may get nothing, Collingwoods stalling tactics are putting the pressure right on Port. I keep saying it, they are in the same situation as we were last year with Nick Davis.

The only hurdle I feel is Stevens salary as what I believe he has requested is equal to Buckley and he ain't no Buckley.

At the end of the day no team picks up a player who does not want to play for them.

We are playing this right. As Culprit said we are stalling and the longer this goes the better it is for us. Port will want anything for him at the end of the trade period so they don't lose him for nothing. Our only problem is Carlton. They will enter the frey and offer port more than us. We need to sort out Stevens manager to just let us play the game.

Stevens will not want to go to Carlton, he would rather go somewhere else as he wans to play in finals. His manager wants him to go to Carlton as 15% of 2 million is better than 15% of 1.2 Million.

The thing is; Stevens can go to any club in Melbourne, because he wants to return home, but Nick Davis could only be traded to Sydney.

One possible solution might be to do a deal with Bulldogs since they have first pick in preseason draft, where we trade their first pick for one or more of our players, and we get Stevens that way.

(Just edited that from CArlton to Dogs since I thought Carlton had 1st pick but acc to herald it's the dogs).

This assumes that Stevens has the option of refusing to be traded before the draft, i don't know what the rules are there.... there might be a rule there to protect Port's investment, because it would mean they get b-all.

Carlton won't trade their first pick.

I thought Carlton had 1st pick in pre-season draft but it's the dogs, just corrected the error by editing the message.

On the back of Adelaide's Advertiser today it had this picture of Presti and "Wanted" in huge letters over the top!! how pathetic is that as if would get rid of Presti for someone like Nick Stevens. We shouldn't even be thinking about trading any of our defenders becuase they need to stay together becuase they are like a team of their own in some way!!

Put Stevens and Scotland in the Blue midfield with Camporeale + Hulme and they are starting to look respectable again.

A formidable midfield?? Granted the 2 they would acquire are competent enough footballers, but their backs would give out from carrying the other 2 who are simply lowlife more concerned with niggle and picking fights than football.

I humbly apologise for misrepresenting yr post. The dereogatory reference was to Messrs Camporeale and Hulme, not to yourself or yr judgement.

Would agree it be respectable if all 4 were playing football, regrettably a secondary consideration for said gentlemen.

FYI, am not partial to the weed however DO have only one eye.
