This kid's worth a mention. He came to the club with a real question mark over his fitness levels, but keeping in touch with Williamstown news, he's been tearing it up and getting better and better. Last week in the Bendigo bog he had some 32 touches on four different opponents. His skills are apparently exceptional and because of his body shape he's got real pack-busting presence. Doubtful he'll get thrown in the deep end at this time of year, but don't be surprised either if he gets a call-up. Certainly one to watch.

And for everyone still crying out for a ruckman, rest easy, because Guy Williams seems to have really stamped himself as the number one ruck in the VFL. Check out Dale's pics of him leaping out of the mud to palm the ball. He'll get a senior call-up next year for sure, starting in the Wiz Cup.

Been hearing good things about him, saw him playing for Williamstown on the ABC earlier in the season. Was a very good player for the Mariners, I think he will get a call-up during the Pre-Season, but he will have to work hard to get into the Senior side after that time though. Is Guy Williams on the Collingwood list? I've never heard that name before, which is why I am asking.

I am a big wrap on this kid from what i have seen and heard. Cant wait to see him in action.

Any chance MM will pull a shock this week or for the finals????

I was thinking of a song that the cheer squad can sing when he gets a game. What about to the tune of that Eminem song - something like this

Here's the Shaq,
Back again,
to kick some ass
tell your freinds
Shaq is back
Shaq is back
Shaq is back
etc

Anyway, I am really looking forward to seeing this kid play in the senior side.

Collingwood have a knack of throwing in a kid for big games. Nothing would suprise me. I was with his Uncle Saturday night and talking about him.

I doubt they will, I think MM has learnt that lesson when he put Fraser in a little early. So I wouldn't think Sheckelton, Nixon, Cloke, or anyone like that will get a mention until next season. Maybe even the one after, the games coming up are too important to mess around with young players.

Yeah, but I think it's a little late in the season though.

You can get all the info you need about Guy Richards' form by reading the match reports in The Williamstown Factor.
