I think its a bit rough that the dutchman gets 2 weeks for what was an excellent punch on Williams, when there was a wrestling incident later in the match, and nothing was said.

Come on AFL, get your act togeather and be a bit fair dinkum. Treat all players the same, not special rules for Collingwood...

On another note, it is said here in Sydney papers (wasteland papers) that the Dutchman is turning into the next Libba... Your thoughts?

The tosser at the tribunal for 3AW (Graeme Bond?) was devastated he only got 2 weeks..then had a big moan that Collingwood accused P Williams of hitting him first (I believe there was video footage of this). Coupled with the character assasination piece in the Hun, done at the behest of Sydney no doubt, and David Parkins moan that it was worse the Sinclair a week or so back, I'm suprised he only copped two....

2 weeks is a pretty good result and I hope he learns his lesson for a pretty dumb act. Mcgough or Rupert might get a run now but I wouldn't mind seeing someone with pace come into the side.

Piss weak? He was lucky not to get three or four, especially having already copped a suspension this season.

I don't see any evidence that Brodie's been singled out - Anthony Stevens also copped two last week for hitting Nick Holland off the ball. Had he copped less, everyone from every other club would have been saying "one rule for Collingwood"... (as some of you are now)

Whacking players is not on and Brodie got what he deserved. Whether or not Williams should also go doesn't change that.

Thankfully for Collingwood we'll have him back for the business end of the finals - if MM will have him!

Im afraid I have to agree with Weed, he probably should have got more, due to the fact he has already been up at the tribunal this year.

But, we'll take two, and get him back in for the prelim...fingers crossed.

In my opinion Dutchy just needs to put his head into doing the hard work to be in good form for his apperance in 2 weeks time.
HOWEVER I believe the Tribunal to be very inconsistent and this need to be addressed.
If something isn't done against Williams then they need a good beating around the head, in my opinion he looked to have hit Dutchy harder just seemed to have concealed it better (using the smarts in my opinion).
Everyone is making Dutchy out to be the bad one... GRRR it makes me mad.

What about when lil Sam Mitche got off? Or when Aca wasn't even cited for hitting Dutchy in the nuts?
