Okay, I have to apologise!!! On the flight to Sydney we had the umpies sitting in the seats in front of us and we didn't do or say a thing!!! LOL! I was tempted to "accidentally" bump their seats a few dozen times or even do a quick run around the plane to get some "donations" to give them so we might actually get a decent run with the umpiring! We decided against all options and actually behaved ourselves - but do you think I'm regretting it now?????? That was some of the worst umpiring I've seen - particularly in wet conditions when players are obviously going to be slipping and sliding everywhere. What a joke!
GO PIES!

When there are heaps of ball ups and out of bounds, goals etc... the clock stops. Think about it. There was no time clock conspiracy. But the umpiring WAS shite. |

Clemo m8 watch the last quater about 13 minutes left in the game, the clock stops once after a point and doesn't start again for about a minute or so then prolly a minute or two later the ball goes OOB and the clock stops again then doesn't restart for another couple of minutes until the ball goes OOB again. check it out, I don't think I have ever seen it do it b4. _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |

I won't discus the umpiring.
Just on the timeclock issue, isn't it possible that the TV people got it wrong, however the official timekeepers at the ground were right? _________________ Go Pies! |

Thanks for correcting me Joel.
Other than the game it has been a blur spending 24 hours on the bus.
Bucks went ballistic at the umps,I have never seen him go that crazy.
I realised on the replay that Tazza had a free given against him for swearing at the umpire.
The umpiring is not improving that is for sure. |

Holding the ball was not paid once for the entire night ... NOT ONCE!!!
At least one should have been paid against us, and a couple against them. For this to happen, the umpires MUST have been under instruction to not pay holding the ball. Giesch strikes again!
McLaren paid the mark to Bucks (he was the umpire in control) when Vozzo runs in from 70 metres away to say touched. Cant blame Giesch for that .... simply poor umpiring from Vozzo. |

I hear you my brothers in arms,
The umpiring and decision making by umpires is a joke.
But what can we do, I consider them Koala's (Protected Species)
untouchable. The umpires/AFL have to be made accountable for the umpiring and decision making not only in Collingwood games but ALL AFL games. I herd on Sport 927 on morning someone commented that theres a AFL umpire shortage with not many young ones coming through so the are holding onto the olders ones a bit to long.
And the collingwood juganaut keeps jug-jug-jugging along _________________ Sugar Ray |

Who cares? 41 people that posted thought it was a joke and I believe that they may have had some cash slipped under the table to them. I have never seen Buckley get that upset and Tarrant I think has had enough. _________________ FOR F**K SAKE MOVE THE BALL ON QUICKLY!!! |

Agreed that tarrant has had enough, if i was him i wouldve had enough 5 weeks ago....i watch tazza very closely every week (yes, hard to believe:P) and i can see the frustration on his face grow everyweek and his confidence slimming. do u think we will see him walk off the oval in protest soon? _________________ This message was proudly brought to you by Katie *cough* Tarrant |

If you read the Sydney papers we were the VILLAINS for ruining the cinderella story for Sydney. The umpires did their best to make sure the fairy tale came true. Thats the closest i think an AFL game has been to being rigged. It was nothing short of disgraceful imo. Umpire McLaren is a disgrace. He was the same umpire that robbed us last year at Footy Park against Port first time around. The Giesch needs to look at the standard of umpiring and the direction its taking.
