Interesting possibility

Having a look at the ladder and assessing all the possibilities for the coming 2 weeks, it is possible that after this weekend we will have a ladder that could look something like this -

After 21 Rounds
Port 17 Wins - 68 pts
Collingwood 14 Wins - 56 pts (Assume we beat Sydney)
Adelaide 52 pts (Loss to Roos)
Brisbane 52 pts (Another draw, un likely but possible!)
Sydney 52 pts (Assume loss to pies)
Freo 52 pts (Assume loss)
WCE 52 pts
Essendon 52 pts

One team on 17 wins, one on 14 wins and 6 on 13 wins with their % sorting them out.

Interesting scenario - can anyone remember a season so close???

i still dont think the final 8 is set cause if essedon lose there 2 games and stkild thump the dogs and geelong its quite possible they might make it u never know same with the hawks

There is no way that the 8 will change (other than its order).

It will probabloy be the first time ever that 13 wins has been the minimum to get into the 8!!!!

The 8 is set we are all just going for that top 2 finish get second and we stay in Melbourne drop to 3rd or 4th and we travel. Destiny is in our own hands. Port plays Adelaide in Round 22 it may come down to Port having to beat Adelaide and us beating Essendon on friday night..thats providing we beat Sydeny this week to secure that 2nd spot and play our first game at the G.
