Sip and Save

During the live telecast of the Collingwood and Adelaide game shown in Adelaide, Sip and Save had their commercial in this prime time.

The commerial starts with "What Could Be Lower Than The Collingwood Cheer Squad?" The commerical then says Try These and shows some of its cheap booze. Evil or Very Mad

I Had a small gathering of people over my house for the game and all are Collingwood supporters and everyone of us was offended.

It is painful enough living in SA with Cow and Cold Power supporters with all the media focussed here on the Cows and they put on this cheap shot.

Sorry I just had to get it off my chest..

As a former President of the Cheer Squad, I am very offended. But having spent a lot of time in Adelaide for most of my life visiting family, I am not surprised. They just have no-idea over there.

I am proud of my past involvement and the freinds that I have made from the football and the cheer squad are freinds I will have for life. The experiences that being involved in the cheer squad have afforded me are the best of my life and memories I will treasure forever.

I am the best man at a wedding next year and I met Cameron in the cheer squad. I count my best and closest freinds on one hand and every single one of them are people I met from mine, and their envolvement in the cheer squad.

We all know that Eddie, Greg Swan and Eugene Arocca read this board, as well as other club officials and I ask that they follow this up and get an official apology from Sip n Save and their advertising agency.

they ran an ad earlier this year at the port game too saying "EDDIE WOULD KEEP HIS SHIRT FOR THESE PRICES!" and somethin else regarding eddie and his shirt

Its called jealousy, you look at their cheersquad you have a laugh and then get back to watching their joke of a Football team running round the park dosed up on Coderal. Laughing

At least our Cheersquad doesn't feature an idiot in a red afro wig with a painted face Razz

It is quite an insult but, why just single us out? there are 15 other teams in the AFL
