Last night our towering win over the crows did wonders for our percentage, but any of you that did listen to the radio would be aware that had we of kicked just 3 more goals we would have been ahead of them on %...
oh well...

Yeah was very very disapointing that we fell away in the last quater.
We probably won't be able to catch their percentage now which could hurt us.
Means we might have to win an extra game.
Never mind the win is the main thing. As long as we keep winning we will be ok.

atm i'd probably prefer to play Port in Port rather than WC @ Subiaco, we play very well at Footy Park so staying 4th is ok IMO

Very true Joffa, and win is a win.
Guess I'm just looking at hypertheticals, playing in Melbourne would be so much easier. For the players and for the supporters.
Anyone got any idea how much it is to travel interstate in finals time.

Interesting point about that %. But agreed, a win is a win.

This may sound really dumb, and yes I am very dumb, but how much does the points affect the percentage? I got a rough idea how it works, some explain to me again.

oh well the main thing is well be in september
year after year from 95-01 we missed out on the finals and it was very frustrating so ill take any finals games

Not sure exactly what you mean, AGE, but if your question is, "How is the % worked out?", just divide points for by points against then multiply by 100.

We have 2077 for and 1710 against so that's 1.21462 x 100 = 121.46

sorry, i meant if a team wins by 50 points howe much percentage would they gain?

Depends on their percentage.

If a team on 135% wins by 50 they may gain 1% but if a team on, say 95% win by 50, they may pick up a lot more.
