OK channel NINE...

How come 9 in Adelaide can manage to put a LIVE Friday night game on at the CORRECT time and you wankers in Melbourne cannot.

cant u see why that would take precedence over a footy game which is sold out.

if the game was in adelaide we would get it live into melbourne
when games are in melbourne very rarely there showed live unless its on Cable always has been like that even the channel 7 days there wasnt many games live in melb played in melb except for 1 or 2.

don;t ask me why people would want to watch a game live with top 4 spots up for grabs. I know i would prefer to watch an old guy digging up weeds etc anyday than footy.

They r never going to change their minds and will always show footy delayed fridays. I just wish they wouldn;t lie about it by saying that its LIVE friday nights on their tv ads.

No, I was just giving an example of a game that hasn't been shown live and that has been played in Adelaide. Friday night games are hardly ever shown live.

Doesn't Fox Footy have the right to show AFL games live on a Friday night because of the new broadcast system?

new broadcast system? i dont think there is a new broadcast system as such....only a lot of talk about fox footy wanting all games live.
ATM the friday night game is the only game during the w/e is not shown into any state live on free to air or foxtel

FTA 10 delayed, Fox has 2 LIVE ones today.
Presume 9 coverage tomorrow will be LIVE.
Well done 9-10 you managed one LIVE game for the w/e and FOX had 3...

Its done the same way every week,
Friday night - channel 9 - 8:30
Saturday - foxtel - one live in the afternoon and one live at night
- channel 10 delayed at 4:00pm and delayed at 7:30pm (its only every now and then that ten will put the saturday night game live if its interstate or sold out i suppose)
Sunday - foxtel -one live of the three (not the one that 9 put on live)
- channel 9 - onle live at 1pm and one dalayed at 4pm

its happened like this every week this year so y are ppl starting to complain now?

The games start at 5.40pm our time and 9 show it starting around 8.45 and its nearly always after 9 before the bounce and midnight be4 it ends.
But WIN have changed to showing it at 8pm and get straight into the game and its over by 10.30.
Still too late but much better than 9.
i Can wait to watch it if i know its going to end by 10.30.
Just think how many country people that would watch 9 now watch WIN instead.
I wonder if the advertisers know how many viewers they are missing out on due 9s insistence of having burke and his fuggin bagyard on instead.
I cant wait for 9 in perth to give footy away altogether,they shite me more than 7 used to even.
