There is one I do know about this topic, I wouldn't be talking of trading anyone on our list until we see how they perform when it really counts. THE FINALS!!
In case anyone has forgotten, we are going to play in the finals this year. If we play well, we could do anything, if we play crap, were out. I remember Leon kicking that great goal in last years final against Pt Adelaide and I remember Rupe and Scotland playing great against Adelaide in the Prelim. OKay some of our mid range players haven't set the world on fire on a consistent basis, but destiny is in all of their hands and talk of trading the future of our club (kids aged around the 18-22 mark) is just nonsense talk. Lets wait and see what happens in September.
What happens if our best players in the finals are Rupe, Leon, Scotland, O'Bree, Didak and Kinnear?? Do we keep them and trade our senior players?? Think about it.
Go Pies, Premiers 2003, you just wait and see !! |

Apologies, I thought Tarkyn was a given. I really should have made myself clearer in my earlier post. I also forgot Malthouse, Eddie and Swan. Those 3 have done nothing for the club (I mean we did lose last week didn't we?). Yeah they must all go. Time for new blood at the club because we are going nowhere.
Trade the Collingwood name while we are at it...and the club colours. Black and white must go and we should be called the "traders".
Right, it's sorted. Please vote 1 for me at the next "traders" election for the board. I'm a shoe in!!
