I would say with comments like that......it clearly highlights the fact that you shouldn't bother....

Rolling Eyes

Back to the topic.....wait till the season is done with before considering trading players....there are 7 weeks to go and it can make or break careers....for those UNCONTRACTED players....

I think we've all got the right to an opinion. To think Neitz is better than Taz right now is something that astounds most of us 1983. We fail to see what you base that opinion on. Let's face it, if Bruce Macervany (spelling?) says Taz is the premier forward in the league then I'm interested to know what FACTS you have to back up your opinion. It seems logical to prefer Taz to Neitz. Stats back Taz up as well as age and character. He has also been more conistent than Neitz this year. Taz can play FF, HF, wing even. Neitz can play FF...sometimes CHF, wing I doubt very much.

While I'm posting in this topic, I'd like to trade Bux, Burns, Rocca, Licca, Clemo, Cole, Fraz, OB - ridiculous isn't it, much like this thread. Honestly, a thread well worth the rubbish bin if you ask me. Leave it for the end of the year.

Amazing how some careers can be resurrected in a handful of games....what might be considered now might not be considered post GF.

Due to the Heffernan rule you cant trade Woewodin even if you wanted to.

I thought that rule hadn't been brought in yet or something?

I agree, wait till the end of the year and think about it then.

Exactly. Magpie 1983, explain why you would trade a 22 year old Tarrant (is already a star bar his kicking at goal) for a 28 year old Neitz? If you're being serious, people have a right to call you an idiot. Neitz in our team would not be a great deal better than Tarrant in our team (if at all), and would be here for barely half the years a Chris Tarrant would. Neitz would be getting more money than Tarrant anyway, so money-wise it's a crap deal also.

Hate to say "I told you so guys" Some even tried to post seriously no doubt but these types of threads, at this time of year serve no purpose other than to divide and cause rifts within a fellowship.
It's not about controversial topics, magpie 1983, I'll be one of the first to post on similar topics, in fact if I recall, similar threads leading up to trade periods were massive, both here and at the defunct FTO - but at the END of the season please!

I would go for Neitz in our team as FF and have Taz running along the Wing in the centre on the backline and gove Neitz a rest when he takes over at FF, Shit he can even umpire too after he tells Malthouse where he wants to play as he is becoming Mr VERSATILITY.

I reckon Uze may want to join his best mate in a quality team as well. We can give them Lokan, Kinnear and our last draft pick for them Razz

People are biting your head off because you still haven't given any valid reasons. Stop the 'woe is me' routine because of your alleged 'controvery' and state why you would chase Neitz for Tarrant. Or else stop whinging like a little biyutch and be prepared for a backlash!
