With already a fantastic list and the prospect of another big signing, will anyone challenge us for the flag in 2004? Hard to believe how good we will be once this year's crop develops and we add a Judd or Stevens to the mix. We will be AWESOME _________________ IT'S TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Interesting theory, but the problem is, actaully getting these players, I think Stevens may stay at the Power. And I really dom't know what Judd is doing only the "rumours" of him doing whatever. _________________ Ðavâgé

In this footy game I got, I traded Lockeyer,Didak and Scotland for Mcleod. I also got rid of a few players i think for Gardiner......
BUT... I'd rather have our players than theres. |

Wasnt the Adelaide Crows Favourite for the 2003 Flag after there preseason games then a few months on there not as good as everyone thought due to injuries etc etc. You are only as good as the players around you and by going to a different club could make you not look as good as you did.

I reackon will have enough $$ to lure Black or Stevens to our club. But do we want another mid fielder? Do we need a good backman? |

Who cares about what odds we are. Odds are only determined by how much people bet. Joseph Gutnick could put a million bucks on Melbourne to win the flag and they would be installed Premiership favourites. Doesnt mean they are going to win the flag though.....lol

To kind of echo London Dave and Pepstar... it's only round 14, can't we put this off for at least a little longer and leave it to those behind the scenes for now?
And aren't the "guns" we have good enough? You already said that we have a fantastic list... |

I believe in building premierships, not buying them. Not to say that aggressive trading isn't a part of football business (look at Woewodin) but an honourable club develops its team and its players as best it can. It doesn't offload them at the first opportunity for the next big thing.
Look where "we never rebuild" Carlton are now - they got what they deserved in the end.

I don't think we need any more midfielders. We have enough already.
My only fear (if you can call it that) is with the re-signings of Taz and Jimmy on reduced packages we will have more $ for a higher profile player (yes good, maybe), but WHO will we be targeting? The interaction between Eddie and Luke Darcy on footy show last week was cause for some nervousness on my behalf. Pure speculation I know. But I can't help but wonder. |

Don't want Darcy. He had a shocker when the played the Crows and Biglands gave him a nice touch up. Dunno if he did that much better against Gardiner ??
From the bulldogs i would go for Nathan Brown. He can play midfield or up forward and would be a good combo with Didak.
