Message for Mick....Please leave Clokey in the back half

After seeing theh effort and run of Clokey on Sat night I hope Mick will dispense of the experiment of Cloke in the forward line. His value in the back half cant be overstated. At one point on Sat night during a kick in by the Doggies, Cloke was on on our half forward line as part of our zone, from the moment the ball was kicked in to the oppsoite side of the ground Clokey ran all the way back to the half back line on the other side of the ground and almost pulled down a great mark over the top of a Bulldogs forward line player near the boundary. He would have run at leat 80m's.

Tarrant gets praise for his endurance & long leads (deservadly) and I believe Cloke should be praised for his endurance and ability to get to almost every contest in the back half.

His smother on what was going to be an easy goal was also fantastic..he came from no where to get to the feet of the Doggies running player.

Well done young man....you are well on way to a very long career!!!

Clokey actually was involved in 3 smothers and countless defensive punches, plus courageously backing into packs. One of his best games for the year.

If his brothers develop into players like him then a couple of our key position players should start to feel nervous .
