I had heard Williams was in Hospital, but could not find any info on CFC site or real footy, herald sun, afl site..so thanks for the info on his injury and how it happened.
Cracked ribs will need the time to heal, which is why the 6 weeks off......presti needed to recover from a punctured lung...and did that in good time.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Andrew.............and get lots of gentle cuddles to help you heal.

As for the replacement.....the Rupe would be great!

Rupert hasn't really been dominating at Williamstown therefore I think Cole or Swan should be given a chance.

I think one of Williams strengths is his good over head marking ability for a player of his size. Therefore my replacement would be Betheras as he is a great overhead mark. Betheras is wasted playing at VFL level. Hopefully Malthouse gives the guy a break and lets him have a senior game as thats where he belongs.

Dark Lord, Williams has broken his ribs. That is why he's out for 6. Presti did not break his ribs. I suffered a collapsed lung recently and was fine after 2 weeks.

RUPE - I love the way Rupe plays his footy , great overhead , fearless , and most importantly - he plays his gutz out .

Sounds like Cole played well last game , & Dane Swan hasn't done much wrong in the magoos
